Hey y'all! Happy actual Independence Day!!! However, I'm not officially starting the party until Monday which (thank you powers that be) I have off :)
The last couple of weeks have been rather interesting, for a variety of reasons. I got tonsillitis again which lasted two weeks, took a risk for love, had multiple adventures with friends and now, I am currently in the process of moving.
1. Tonsillitis
Out of all the things that I have to report about my life, I really wish this wasn't one of them. This marks the 9th time that I have had tonsillitis! And, this time round was the worst out of all other 8 times. Literally, every symptom you could think of, I had. There was even one time that my fever sparked to 104!
Anyways, I am better now and hopefully I stay this way!
2. The Woman With 1,000 Relationships
I know, I know, I seem like the woman who is constantly dating someone new but; I took a risk for love which ended up biting me in the ass. However, currently I am dating again. In my defense, I would love to have something that lasts awhile but on the other end, I feel, why cry over spilt milk? Although some milk may be sweeter and more lovely than others, in the end it is spilt. To me it feels better to just get back up and keep moving forward as opposed to reflecting on what could have been and what went wrong, ect.
All I have to say is that my love for Luke (the child in all the pictures I have been posting lately) will never leave. I absolutely still love having him in my class and I'm thankful for the bond that was formed and that is still forming. Hes definitely the ray of sunshine that makes my day brighter.

Seriously y'all, I used to say that he was a kid after my own heart but now it's completely stolen.
3. Adventures with Friends!
Aside from all the grey clouds, there were a few days full of clear blue skies. Thankfully that is due to friends.
These two pictures were from hanging out with my friend Hannah. On Thursday we went and saw Finding Dory! It was actually really cute! Last Sunday, I attended church and Hannah had the idea of helping out in Nursery. I didn't really think about it until it was happening but, I survived two hours with 1 to 2 year olds in heels! It gives me hope for when I decide to bust out some wedges at work :)
This was from a Girls Night Out with my friend Katie. I just thought it was funny how Girls Night Out included a trip to the Staunton Library. We also grabbed a bite at Baja, watched a movie and participated in a crazy shenanigan.
This was from a dinner that I was invited to. I wasn't in the mood to socialize but I'm happy that I forced myself to attend. It was a lot of fun.
Yesterday I went out for ice cream with my friend Mikey. He's also been fixin' up my hair on my lunch break.
Yesterday I twinned with this little cutie!
5. Even more Adventures
I had the wonderful opportunities to visit Swannanoa palace, Maymount and the Downtown Charlottesville Mall! Swannanoa had to be one of the most exciting things that I have done in awhile! Most of the property is in ruins and there are several things that are abandoned!!!! The architecture was also beautiful. Maymount has a bit of an affiliation with Swannanoa, I believe they were built by the same family, except the upkeep of Maymount is exceptional. There is a mini zoo, Japanese Garden, Nature Center along with other attractions. And, the Charlottesville Downtown Mall was a fun Saturday adventure.
I know, I know, I pose for pictures ALOT but in my defense, half the picture ideas weren't mine. Well, kinda.
This was in the Japanese Garden at Maymount. This was a little hut over a huge koi pond.
This was in the nature center. I absolutely had to take pictures with the snakes!
These two pictures were from the Downtown Charlottesville Mall. I received/ obtained a free hug and attempted to make a huge light up American Flag!
Today, someone tagged me in this picture from my first day at Mary Baldwin and being in Virginia. Funny how fast time flies and how we change over a short period of time.
I hope everyone has an exciting and safe 4th of July! As of right now I have some exciting plans (really hoping that they don't fall through since some plans that I had for today did)! My next couple of weeks will involve work, moving and possibly some romance. Go out there and be bold!
