Iverbe!

Hey guys :) Happy Holidays! Today was my first day working at the Iverbe children's camp. It was awesome yet VERY exhausting. I counseled 25 pre-K and Kindergarten age children from 8:30 to 4:00. I don't have tomorrow off and I work until 5:30. This is such an awesome opportunity and I am extremely thankful and fortunate to have this opportunity. Most teenagers my age are unpaid sub-counselors but I'm definitely getting paid and having full counselor status...which is reserved for college students. Aside from that, the kiddos were adorable! They were creative, total sweethearts and FULL of energy. My co-counselors were awesome. They helped me feel included although I am a few years younger than them and they were so great with the kids that it didn't make me afraid of acting weird if I were to really get into playing with the kids.  I'm excited to see how the rest of this week goes and I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!!!
