Some of DC and Tennessee

Hey guys. I have been in DC for the past four days and before that I was in Tennessee for a few days as well. Yesterday, I had the most exciting day of my entire vacation. I visited the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum! That was my first all day adventure in DC and it has been a dream of mine to go for quite some time. I didn't take that much pictures because they didn't want you to take pictures...they also didn't want you to touch things but we all do things we are not supposed too every once in a while. ;) Besides that, all I  have been doing in DC is caring for my friend's little girl. I also had a blast in Tennessee because for three days I had fun hanging out with my favorite cousin, Chantay and her boyfriend. It was wonderful to chill out and enjoy hilarious company. I also had the opportunity of riding and caring for horses which was fun. I hope everyone is having a great Summer! Enjoy the last few weeks :)

This was a really cool room where you could read and hear a little bit of a few Holocaust survivor's experiences in the camps.
This was one of the many inspiring messages on the walls. I took a picture of this one because no one was looking and there weren't any cameras.
The famous collection of shoes. The Nazis took these from prisoners and Jews when they were undressing for the gas chamber and when an individual was chosen for forced labor. After the Nazis took everything from them, they were given a pair of shoes that were too small, to large or didn't even match. Some survivor even recall having wooden clogs with no socks. That is a guaranteed disaster for blisters and terrible, aching feet. Especially in the winter.
I'm so lucky, I get to hang out with this darling cutie all day!
I hate this picture but it's the only one I have for evidence that I actually took care and saw horses. My camera died so I only have this one....
This was an awesome day! I was a guest at my first wedding (yay! I have always wanted to attend a wedding and I finally did!) and afterwards, my cousin, her boyfriend and I walked around Downtown Knoxville and went looking in stores. My cousin loved this sign because she loves horses.

My cousin and I before we went out to eat. Isn't she gorgeous? I really miss her!
