The Suspense Is Killing Me!

Hey guys :) After my wonderful day of birthday surprises I just have one bone to pick! I need to solve the mystery behind who sent me the red roses, chocolate and balloons! The suspense is killing me! Whoever sent me such a sweet gesture should just come out and say it! Please..and thank you. I enjoyed walking into my room after school today and seeing the fresh red roses in a vase with a ribbon around them. It made me smile and they were pretty :)

Birthday mystery?

Hey guys :) I just received the best surprise ever! Someone left me red roses, chocolate and balloons on my door step for my birthday. I am trying to figure out who left me such a sweet gift. Earlier tonight at mutual, one of my young women leaders asked me about the one thing I would love on my birthday and I said I have always wanted to be surprised. I have always wanted to be given a secret note in my locker or some spontaneous gift. Although, the special someone left me red roses. Wouldn't that be too romantic of a gesture? The roses also had a ribbon...whoever you are, Thank you! This was a wonderful surprise and I can't stop smiling :)

16th Birthday!!!!

Hey guys :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! Although "birthday time" technically started 2 days ago, it was wonderful to receive all of the sweet birthday wishes, hugs and gifts from everyone! From the small phrases of 'Happy Birthday' as you passed me in the hallway to the gifting of birthday presents thank you all! One thing I really enjoyed was when I came home and was given a present from a family I babysit for and when another family and the girls I babysit gave me cards and gifts. However, that does not mean that any of the other gifts and exchanges of 'Happy Birthday' I received were not just as sweet! They all made my day and once again, thank you! Have a wonderful week!

Early 16th Birthday Party

Hey guys :) How has the beginning of your week been? Personally, mine has been absolutely wonderful! I celebrated my birthday one day early by eating out with my lovely grandparents. The food was absolutely delicious, I was the trivia champion and I was given a free sundae and embarrassed in front of the entire restaurant! Aside from the celebration aspect, I enjoyed my first day of piano lessons, a debate over politics and just having fun! I hope you all have a wonderful week :)

I'll try not to post so many pictures tomorrow since it is my actual birthday. Have any of you heard the song 'I Won't Give Up' by Jason Mraz? I recommend listening to a bit of it. I heard it sometime last week and I have fallen absolutely in love with it! It's pretty rad.

Early 16th Birthday!

Hey guys! Happy Sunday! Today has been one of the best days of the year :) I had a blast attending Mock Trial and when I came home, it was Birthday time!!! I opened presents and ate some of my delicious birthday pie :) I also had a wonderful visit with my darling little sister, Dinah. She is huge! I cannot believe how long it has been since I saw you last!

Fun Friday!

Hey guys :) How is your Friday going? Personally, mine was awesome! Tonight was my very rare night off from work and I went to Blaze Pizza, Zinga, climbed a tree in flats and was given a new shirt. Aside from loving cute/ free things and eating delicious food, I am grateful for the opportunity to have time off when I have to work all day tomorrow.   I also spent the evening with my awesome friends the Evans so that was a blast in itself.  I hope the beginning to your weekend was just as wonderful as mine :)

What Would You Do To Celebrate Your Birthday?

Hey guys :) I just realized, I mean actually realized that my birthday is next week. I have no idea what to do or if I should celebrate the big "sweet 16" at all. Thus, I am open for any suggestions! What is something fun you would do? I actually have this little fantasy (because I have an obsession with India and Bollywood) where I have a Bollywood parade in little India..haha! Putting that aside, what would you do for any birthday, and not necessarily a "special" birthday? I hope to here from you and I hope you are having a wonderful Wednesday :)

Return From The Dentist

Hey guys :) How has the beginning of your week been? Going to the dentist yesterday wasn't as terrible as I imagined! Although, I don't look forward for what will occur in the future. In a few weeks I have to go back for a root canal and the removal of something. For the time being, they prescribed me antibiotics and pain killer which made me sick. However, aside from the little bumps in the road, I enjoyed returning to the town I was born and raised in for the majority of my life. Long Beach. I visited a few individuals that I have known since I was 18 months and I spent time with one of my best friends from Middle School. I also had the opportunity to meet my new step-father and visit with my two siblings. The majority of my day yesterday was wonderful! I hope your was the same and I hope today was just as great!

What Is A Weekend?

Hey guys! How has your weekend been? Aside from the little situation which occurred on Friday, my weekend has been absolutely wonderful! I worked all day, all weekend and I also had a  little time to myself which is always nice. I'm  a little disappointed that it is coming to an end because tomorrow I have to go to the dentist! I never realized it but I am terrified of them pulling out my teeth. One because I saw the horror movie 'The Dentist' and he pulled out all of his wife's teeth and her tongue and it didn't seem like a fun experience. Two because it always hurts and a year ago I lost a tooth and whenever I would smile, I looked like a complete idiot and I don't want it happening again.

Well, I just have to wait and see what will happen tomorrow! I hope the remainder of your weekend is wonderful!  :) 

Worst Ending To An Awesome Day

Today was the first day in a while that I was just begging to feel confident, to feel awesome and it all went to crap once a little green slip was handed to me in 5th period. The worst part about it is it deals with the past and the other individual, the other party, will not hear about until Monday. I want to apologize, I had nothing to do with this and it was just as much of a surprise to me as it will be to you. I know nothing will ever be the same but I just hope you understand that this wasn't me and please do not think ill of me or hate me. That's all that I ask. We don't need to see one another, we don't need to speak. Nothing. Just understand that this angers and upsets me just as much as it will to you and I want to leave this saying that I still have my dignity.

I Am Thomas Jefferson!

Hey guys :) Ok, I know I have posted multiple times in the last few days but life has just been so exciting! Judging from the title of this post, I bet y'all are wondering why I said I was Thomas Jefferson. Well, in technicality, I am. In my AP United States History class we are having a Patriots vs. Loyalists debate and I have seriously, never been as excited as I am now, for a project or assignment. My character is the wonderful Thomas Jefferson who was a die hard patriot. The greatest thing is the historical figure I will be portraying is actually an amazing leader and that is evidenced by his wonderful quote:

" Our cause is just. Our union is perfect. We most solemnly before God and the world, declare that, we will, in defiance of every hazard, with unabating firmness and perseverance, employ for the preservation of our liberties; being with one mind resolved to die freemen rather than to live slaves".

Now, this is an abridged version where I dissected the parts applicable to the debate and the topics which will be discussed but all I have to say is Patriots rule! King George 3rd and the Loyalists will be defeated! I mean, I was so awesome that I became the President of the United States. I hope you are all having a wonderful Wednesday! :)

Although, while reading today, I found a very interesting quote: "What matters is giving over to what you love".  I think this is one of the best quotes I have found throughout literature and it is applicable to anyone. Tuesday Night Baptisms

Hey guys :) how has the beginning of your week been? Tonight the youth and I had the opportunity to visit the Los Angeles Temple and participate in Youth Baptisms! It was a wonderful experience and I feel so much better from how I was feeling earlier today since I had time to relax and ponder. Plus, I participated in service and I had pie! Pie makes everything better :) I hope you are all having a wonderful week!
