Grandpa Bernie's 74th Birthday

This was the highlight of my first day of vacation. My grandfather's 74th birthday! Although it was a busy day, it was fun to come home to my hilarious grandfather, go out to eat with him and celebrate his birthday. He loved the present I gave him. It was See's Candy Peanut Brittle. :)

Day 2 of Vacation

Hey guys! How has your week been so far? My first few days of vacation have been absolutely wonderful! Today, I did a little shopping, met and visited my new baby cousin Julie for the first time, and went to work with my grandmother. Haha there was a business meeting for the closing of a house and there was quite a bit of drama. Shopping was an absolute blast and my grandmother and I will continue tomorrow because you can never do too much shopping..right? Visiting my cousins was actually a spur of the moment decision but I took some cute pictures of my adorable baby cousin Julie who is only 6 months. She was really a sweet and easy baby. I'll have another opportunity to visit tomorrow and I'm really excited! I hope you had a fun Wednesday!

A Night Of New Experiences

Hey guys! I successfully made it to Orlando!! My night and the flight was exciting and it went by rather quickly. It was exciting because this was my first year finding my way through the airport unaccompanied and I also purchased an amazingly wonderful novel and I instantly fell in love with it and thus spent the entire night reading it when I should have been sleeping. Haha I regretted this in the morning. My first day in Orlando has been pretty busy so far be because I have been running errands with my grandmother. I cannot wait until I get to my grandmothers house!! I can clean up and read on her hammock. :) I am also excited for what my grandmother and I find to do in the next two weeks. I believe there is one night where we will be watching a Slueth or Clue mystery dinner and that is something I have always wanted to do! Clue is my favorite classic board game and it's wonderful that you can actually see the story performed and still try to solve the murder. I'll post something more in the next few days when I have pictures along with an adventurous experience to share. Have a wonderful Tuesday!! 

Wonderful Week

Hey guys! How has your life been the past two days? My weekend has been absolutely wonderful! I've worked, went kayaking, had my final movie night, went to the Santa Monica Pier, and packed for my trip on Monday. I'm absolutely overjoyed that this week has been so amazing because Monday will be a BUSY day. I'll be working for 9 hours and then leaving on a red eye flight. I'll also be busy with church and family tomorrow so it was great to have a whole week dedicated to fun and some work. I hope the rest of your weekend is great! I might post something once I'm in fabulous Florida. :)

Geocaching at UCLA

Hey guys. I cannot believe how fast this week is going by and I also can't believe how busy this weekend will be..right. before. I. leave. Although, after working today, I had a blast geocaching!!! My friends and I only found one cache but at least we burned calories from all the walking and we had yummy shaved ice at Diddy Reis! I also bought cookies and I bribed the children I babysat tonight with them. You can be assured that they were well behaved. I hope you had an amazing and adventurous Thursday!!!!

Fun At The Circus!

Hey guys. So, as you may know, I went to the Circus today!!! It was a absolute blast! My friends and I sat in VIP seating, I purchased a new stuffed elephant that I absolutely have no use for, I went out to In-n-Out and it turned out that I didn't have to work this evening. Although, I'll be making up for it tomorrow with 4 children and longer hours. How was your Tuesday?!? I hope it was as wonderful as mine and tomorrow will be just as much fun because after work my grandparents are taking me out to eat and to the bike path! I just wonder why because it's a little out of the blue; but we'll have to see how everything turns out!

Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

One of my best friend's Angi, her son's and I went and visited the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library!! We also had the opportunity to visit the new, limited time Abraham Lincoln exhibit! It was really interesting and a bunch of fun. 

One of my favorite things was the Civil War in 4 minutes video. The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is always fun to see.

There was a really intriguing and dorky question that the docent for Air Force One brought up. The plane is only called Air force One when the President is on board and when he is not present it is given another name. Now, since the plane is retired and there are no Presidents aboard the plane is it correct to call it Air Force One? Is the technicality still enforced because it is retired and no longer in use? OR, I think the real question is...Ronald Reagan buried on the plane? I guess the world will never know!

Possibly Good-bye California

I have been informed by the time I return from my trips next month, I will have to live somewhere else. I have a wonderful friend who has offered to let me stay at her house until I figure things out and if worse comes to worse, I might have to move to Tennessee where my lovely Aunt and Uncle live. Nothing is final and I am hoping I don't have to go trhough with this because once it's done, it's permanent. I also don't want to start all over and leave behind my amazing friends, work and teachers. All there is to do now is hope and plan for the best. I hope all of you are having a wonderful week and summer vacation.
